The Hallowed Halls, which is on National Register of Historic Places, features 1,600 square feet of open space with 18-foot ceilings in its famed Studio A. It is lined with 10-foot windows that let in ample natural light and a beautiful view of the surrounding maple trees. This unique venue captures an artistic yet elegant vibe that is distinctly Portland. It is perfect for a medium sized live event. Studio A is a special space that has been used for incredible events since it's construction in 1918, from Woody Guthrie concerts in the 1940s to swing dancing in the 1980s, to the rich array of record productions and live music events since it became The Hallowed Halls, the room is steeped in a history of passionate art and the enjoyment of life.
