While you are recording at The Hallowed Halls, you will have access to one of the finest microphone selections in Portland. Bad audio often is the result of an inferior quality microphone or recording device. This cannot be stressed enough to creatives, who learn the hard way how horrible their audio sounds on when not using good gear. It may seem reasonable to save money using inferior equipment until you hear the end result. Then, what seemed like money-saving turns to a big waste.

At The Hallowed Halls, we are obsessed with killer gear - especially consoles and microphones. And it shows! Listen to any of the artists' work done here, and you will hear the difference.

Below, you will find a comprehensive list of microphones, DIs, and available amps and pedals we offer to make your recording the very best it can be!

For all bookings utilizing a guest engineer, a house assistant engineer is required to help setup and teardown for $15/hr. They will make your life much easier and your tracks will be happy. We love welcoming in new engineers and producers but everyone needs a little equipment tutorial the first time through.

We want you to do your project here and we enjoy all genres of music. With two studios and a variety of house engineers, we can accommodate most reasonable budgets so let us know what you need.
